SaidVows started the way most good ideas do — from a real problem. When Marwan, our founder, was helping plan his sister's wedding, he quickly discovered how expensive and stressful the invitation process can be. Between the cost of custom stationery, reprinting after a venue change, and chasing RSVPs through a chaotic mix of WhatsApp messages, text replies, and phone calls from aunties who “didn't get the card,” the whole experience felt unnecessarily painful — and expensive. That frustration became motivation.

So he built something better. Over the course of several months, SaidVows took shape — a digital wedding invitation platform that combines the elegance of traditional stationery with the convenience of modern technology, at a fraction of the cost. Today, SaidVows helps couples around the world create beautiful invitations, manage RSVPs, and share one gorgeous link with every guest on their list — without breaking the bank.

Marwan is a software engineer and designer based in Belgium. He has been building web applications for over a decade, but SaidVows is his most personal project — born from watching his sister navigate the stress and cost of wedding invitations. He leads product development, designs many of the templates himself, and personally reads every support email that comes in.

“I saw how much my sister spent just on stationery and how stressful chasing RSVPs was for her. I wanted to build something beautiful enough to feel special, but affordable enough that no couple has to stress about it. No design degree required, no subscription traps, no nonsense.”

Weddings are deeply personal. Your invitation should be too. We don't think couples should have to choose between “affordable” and “beautiful.” That's why we offer 65+ professionally designed templates across 11 categories — from minimalist modern to intricate Islamic calligraphy to rustic barn wood — all included in every plan. Every template is designed in-house by our team, not sourced from generic template marketplaces.

We also believe wedding tools should be honest about pricing. There are no hidden fees, no monthly charges, and no surprise upsells. You pay once, your invitation stays live forever, and you can update it anytime. If it's not right, you get a full refund within 14 days. Simple as that.

SaidVows is a small, independent team based in Belgium. We started in early 2024 and launched publicly in 2026. We're not a venture-backed startup trying to “disrupt” the wedding industry — we're people who've seen firsthand how stressful and overpriced wedding planning can be, and wanted to make one part of it genuinely easier. Our team includes designers who specialize in cultural wedding aesthetics, developers with experience building real-time applications, and a support team that actually responds within hours, not days.

Every feature is built because a real couple asked for it. Multilingual support? Requested by a couple where the bride spoke French and the groom's family spoke Arabic. QR codes? Suggested by a couple who wanted to print them on their engagement party invitations. Seating chart support? You get the idea. We listen, we build, and we ship.

SaidVows is built with modern, privacy-respecting technology. We use encrypted data storage for sensitive information, process payments securely through Stripe, and never sell or share your personal information with third parties. Your guest data belongs to you — period. We comply with GDPR as a Belgium-based company, and we take data protection seriously because wedding guest lists contain real people's personal information.

We're also committed to accessibility. Our invitations work on every device and screen size, support multiple languages with right-to-left text (Arabic, Urdu), and are designed to be shared across any platform — WhatsApp, email, social media, or even printed as a QR code on a physical card. No app download required for guests.
