Welcome to SaidVows. By accessing or using our website at saidvows.com and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

SaidVows is a digital wedding invitation platform. We provide tools to create beautiful online wedding invitations, manage guest lists, track RSVPs, and share event details with your guests.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account and wedding invitations.
  • You must not use the service to publish illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must use the service respectfully and not attempt to interfere with its operation, exploit vulnerabilities, or abuse other users.
  • You must have appropriate consent from any individuals whose personal data you upload to SaidVows (e.g., guest names, email addresses).

3. Payments & Refunds

SaidVows uses a one-time payment model. Prices are listed in USD (with EUR equivalents shown for EU visitors) and processed securely via Stripe. Your wedding invitation remains accessible for as long as your account is active.

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not published your invitation to guests. After 14 days or after publishing, payments are non-refundable.

Draft mode is free. Payment is required only when you choose to publish your invitation.

4. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain full ownership of all content you create on SaidVows (text, images, wedding details, guest information). By using our service, you grant us a limited licence to host and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

Our templates & platform: All invitation templates, designs, code, and branding elements are the intellectual property of SaidVows. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our templates or platform code.

5. Limitation of Liability

SaidVows is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaidVows shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to SaidVows in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Termination & Suspension

You may delete your account and wedding data at any time from your dashboard.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or use the service for unlawful purposes. We will attempt to provide reasonable notice before taking such action, except in cases of serious violations.

7. Privacy

Your use of SaidVows is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SaidVows shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
