1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up via Auth0, we collect your name and email address. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled securely by Auth0.

Wedding Details

Information you provide when creating a wedding invitation: partner names, wedding date, venue, template preferences, program details, and any custom content you add to your invitation.

Guest & RSVP Data

Guest names, email addresses, phone numbers, RSVP status, meal preferences, dietary restrictions, song requests, notes to the couple, and plus-one information.

Payment Information

Payment details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. We retain a Stripe customer ID for order management.

Analytics & Usage Data

We may collect anonymised usage data (page views, device type, browser) to understand how our service is used and to improve the product.

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the SaidVows service
  • To process your wedding invitations and guest RSVPs
  • To process payments through Stripe
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, RSVP notifications)
  • To improve our product and user experience

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following trusted third-party services to operate SaidVows:

  • Convex — real-time database and backend
  • Auth0 — authentication and identity management
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Vercel / Coolify — application hosting and deployment

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any other parties.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain authentication sessions and ensure the service functions correctly.

We may use optional analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via our cookie consent banner.

5. Data Retention

Your wedding data and associated guest information are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your wedding or account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format
